| Black boxers (as a term is used) are not rare and
they are dark in color.
The Boxer doesn't carry in black gene. I've had dark reverse brindles that appear to be black in color.

Boxers that appear to be black are very dark reverse brindles where their stripes are the dominating color and the stripes have blended together causing the coat to look black.

Sealed brindle is not a color that is any different to any other shade of brindle.
It is a term used in North American simply to describe a dog that has a very heavy concentration of brindling to show the appearance of being a very dark dog.
It is the opposite of "light brindle" that describes a dog having very few brindle stripes.
In between the light and the very dark brindles are:
Golden brindles
Fawn brindles
Brown brindles
Deer red brindles
Mahogany brindles
Simply these describe the shade of fawn ground color, exactly the same as for the different shades of solid fawn boxers.
